Judy Waller is an artist whose work reflects a deep connection to nature, animals, and the landscapes that have shaped her life. She lives with her husband, a cat, two dogs, five goats, ten cows, and four chickens on a farm near Dade City, Florida. Growing up on a farm near the St. Lawrence River in Eastern Ontario, she experienced an isolated yet profoundly inspiring environment—one that instilled in her a lifelong love of animals and the natural world.
As a self-taught artist, Judy was able to find mentors and practice skills during the time she spent in Toronto, Tampa, New York City, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, where she engaged with vibrant creative communities that influenced her evolving style. Her work is an homage to the things she holds dear—the love shared by a family, strong women, animals, the mystery of dreams and visions.
Through painting, drawing, and mixed media, Judy explores thesethemes of alternate realities, aiming to evoke a sense of connection and wonder. Her art is a dialogue between the real and the imagined, personal experience and universal emotion.
