‘Om, Rooney. Free Tibet!’

Rooney is a Saanen goat, but the woman I got Rooney’s mother (Mae) and her aunt Isabel from told me there were two kinds of Saanens, and that Mae was a Tibetan, Isabel— a Himalayan. I don’t know if this is true, but every morning when Rooney was smaller, she would stand on the tree stump in her pasture and I would raise my fist and yell ‘free Tibet!’ It got our day off to a great start.
